“Youth-JO: Level UP! Project Launches Its Activities

Partners for Good (PfG) announces the launch of Youth-Jo: Level UP! project activities. Aiming at capacitating youth with skills for entrepreneurship and employment in agriculture and tourism in Jordan, the project is developed in partnership with Luminus for Social Development, and Advance Consulting (through FAL for Consulting and Management Services) and funded by the Embassy of the kingdom of the Netherlands in Jordan.

Youth-JO: Level UP! Seeks to enhance the economic participation of 1,500 Jordanian youth in the tourism and agricultural sectors through technical and vocational training, which will help build their capacities and prepare them to access the labor market through direct employment and entrepreneurship. The project is targeting youth within Amman, Ajloun, Jerash, Balqa and Madaba, in addition to Aqaba, Petra, and Wadi Rum.

The project activities will be implemented within an interactive approach that improves youth skills to align with the labor market and employers’ needs. This approach will be achieved through providing youth with training programs, guidance and internships that will increase their employment opportunities, and help entrepreneurs transform their entrepreneurial ideas into projects in the tourism and agricultural sectors.
