Al Ramah Compost is part of the Local Partnership for Tourism Development

Published February 23, 2023 by Partners for Good.

Al Ramah Compost produced to date 200 gallons and 2000 kg of compost. We started with engagement and awareness raising and went on to capacity building and building partnerships with the local community, farmers and nearby hotels. It collects and recycles waste to produce and sell affordably priced organic compost to local farmers. The facility serves as an #educational model, raising awareness of environmental and economic advantages of composting.

Al Ramah Compost is part of the Local Partnership for Tourism Development (SHAMS) project, developed by Partners for Good (PfG), funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jordan, and produced in partnership With Al Edwan Agriculture Company and distributed through the Development and Reconstruction of the Jordan Valley Cooperative Association.
