Overview
In Jordan, women’s economic participation is one of the lowest in the world (14.7%) and the culture of the workplace is ranked as one of the three biggest barriers to their participation. Aligned with its focus of promoting and enhancing women and youth economic empowerment, Partners for Good has launched the Best Places to Work certification program in Jordan. The program recognizes leading workplaces in more than 60 countries.
“Best Places To Work” certification program through PfG, gives institutions in Jordan the opportunity to be awarded the international certificate as Best Places To Work in general and for women in specific. Moreover, the program delivers an in-depth workplace analysis and measures of improvement. The certification is an opportunity for Jordanian institutions to be positioned on the international map among certified companies across the world, boost productivity, enhance employee satisfaction, and expand global network.
Our goals through this program are to:
Enhance work environments in Jordan, particularly for women and youth.
Recognize and promote distinguished workplaces to an international audience and provide advice and guidance to those with potential.
Raise awareness about the importance of creating supportive work environments, particularly for attracting and retaining women and youth employees.
Partners for Good is the exclusive agent in Jordan of the international “Best Places To Work”, a leading organization in the development and classification of work environments, with more than 30 years of experience and implementing its programs in many countries of the world. To date, 50 companies applied accross Jordan.
